We are an International Cat Care Listed Cattery. The International Cat Care organisation (formerly the Feline Advisory Bureau) is a charity
dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of cats through improved feline knowledge, to help us all care better for our cats. iCC has been providing information on cats and their care in health
and sickness for many years. The charity has become synonymous with expertise in feline treatment; both in the veterinary field and cat care in general. They also provide information for cat owners
on how to find a good boarding cattery.
Our customers can be sure about the standards of construction and care in our cattery. The iCC also raise awareness of good standards of boarding amongst the public. It means that we have the backup and expertise of iCC, a well known organisation in the field of feline welfare.
In order to become listed we had to:
- Meet the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Model Licence Conditions & Guidance for Cat Boarding Establishments 1995
- Be constructed and managed to iCC standards (as laid out in the iCC Standard for Construction and Management of Boarding Catteries and the iCC Boarding Cattery Manual)
- Have knowledge and practical application of good management standards
This also involves being asked to reaffirm management protocol annually and being revisited periodically.
